A network acting like an orchestra

The reason I am online is to (re)connect with real life network business friends. Looking for the combination of online and offline networking.
We started, in coöperation with Britain, with a new network – wannadobusiness – and planned the first few monthly meetings, to strengthen the off-line connection. I believe in the strength of meeting people, getting to know first and stay connected. Then things do happen if you know how to recieve the signals.

Talking about the signals, reminds me of wat happened a few day ago:
I discovered that my next step was one step to far, it felt like suffocation. So I decided to split the step in smaller parts and immediatly the energy flowed again and the capability of flying was there again. I shared my discovery with a friend-conductor of my network-orchestra and he gave me the conviction doing things right again. It feels like being tuned as musician again, able to recieve the right signals of the collegues that belong with my next step and play beautifull music without forcing my muscles.

Twitteren vind ik heel leuk. Deze ochtend had ik de flow te pakken. Van een klant uit Azie kreeg ik een mooie reactie op een  ontwerp voor een bijzondere website. Dat maakte mij zo blij dat ik lekker aan het twitteren geslagen ben. Hieronder het resultaat.

Sinds de zomer komt er een select gezelschap ondernemers bij elkaar voor intervisie onder de noemer Creating Flow.

Allen hebben een professionele band met Sibren door (indirecte) samenwerking tijdens projecten. Dat kan iemand uit het kernteam zijn maar ook klanten waar we mee samenwerken.Tijdens de bijeenkomst wordt er samen gegeten en open gesproken over de volgende stap. Door de open en vertrouwde en prettige sfeer ontstaan er spontaan levendige gesprekken over allerlei zaken. De kern is dat iedereen oprecht geïnteresseerd is in elkaar en beseft dat inzicht begint met luisteren.

De leden van de club hebben zich aangemeld via de clubsite. Daar staan ook de eigenschappen van de groepssamenstelling.

Het mooie van het Meetup-systeem is dat je lid kunt zijn zonder directe verplichtingen. En als je aan een bijeenkomst deel wilt nemen klik je even op de knop en het is geregeld. Op de clubsite kun je ook berichten plaatsen en er is een besloten forum dat alleen voor lezen zichtbaar is.

Om het intieme karakter van de  groepsbijeenkomsten te borgen blijft het per meeting bij maximaal 12 deelnemers. Door de opzet is een bijeenkomst met vijf mensen net zo sprankelend als met twaalf.

Being happy with yourself and having a healthy self-image is the most powerfull tool to help others.

When I thought about this discovery I made an appointment with myself: Focus on things I get energy from (and earn money by it also). Creativity is a keyword for me.

During the journey I read the a dutch book of Marines Knoope, called “De creatiespiraal” and found the key of gaining spiritual energy. The spiral is based on several phases of creation. I discovered that the last part of the spiral was missing in my habits: receiving, appreciating, relaxing.

So I decided to learn to enjoy recieving compliments and doing things to get more compliments. And the funny thing is, it worked. I grew and grew and raised the impact of the effort at the start and realisation of creative proces.

And the most wonderfull thing is: I put all energy back to people in a later stage of starting-up and creating or supporting. This giving-getting system opened my eyes and gives me a “rich feeling” and maybe you can call it a form of happyness.

In this stage I explore even more “energyzing” fields in the direction of Flow. To me it contains many elements of the journey to higher energy and cross-thinking. All this started with learning to enjoy my own successes (small ánd big).

Today I made the first very, very small start with a new website containing this”flow-thing” and hope to evolve it with others by sharing, involving and inspiring… All good things do start with an idea
